The juvenile bald eagle, Isiah. You can see the damaged wing which is the cause of his residence at the center. As a young nestling, Isaiah suffered a break in his elbow that did not heal correctly, and left him with a useless, and crooked, right wing. When time came for the young eaglet to fledge and take his first flight, results proved unsuccessful for Isaiah, because of his wing injury. His parents could no longer provide the assistance and care necessary for his survival, they had another flighted sibling to care for. Isaiah was found on the ground scared, hungry and abandoned

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thaks Ric, I love the owls too. I rarely run into them when I have shooting light so it was a thrill to see them up close.
