Hummingbird
Following are the pictures of an Anna's Hummingbird, that I took this weekend at Shoreline Lake in the SF Bay Area.
I was surprised that this hummer let me get this close.
On the pictures taken with the 400G, I reached the minimum focusing distance of 3m, so the DOF was around 1cm.
All pictures were taken handheld, in RAW, processed in LR2 + PS3, cropped and resized for the web.
Sony A900, Minolta 400G, 1.4x APO TC,

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
