photographed this black crowned night heron (I think) sleeping up in a tree today. Unfortunately it was a boring overcast day so the lighting was poor at best. If you're wondering where he is... he's inside himself :-)

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    HI there!
Hi, Harry!! How the heck are you? :-)

Interesting is a polite way of saying your shot sucks. Laughing.gif

I don't post here very often as you know and I never capture some of the exciting type bird images I frequently see in this forum (you folks do a great job in your BIF work!) like birds of prey in flight holding a fish in it's mouth our clutches.

I'm limited to pelicans, egrets, herons, night herons, shorebirds, and an occasional eagle or hawk (sans the food deliveries lol). That's what happens when you live closer to a beach than a swamp like you do!
There are times I envy your swampland. lol But I wouldn't trade it for a beautiful beach...... ever :-)

    Be well,
    Markjay

If I thought it sucked I would have told ya so. blbl.gif

Its a well composed image in what seems to be dull lighting. You handled it well. At least I didn't have to tell you to bring out the eyes some more. rolleyes1.gif
