A few Snow Geese

One minute we were setting up to take some shots of a few hundred Snow Geese feeding in a field and the next thing we know, two bald eagles fly over. In an instant they all come off the ground at the same time with a roar sounding like a freight train as their wings beat the air.

I barely had time to get the lens cover off to capture this image. This moment made getting up before dawn and driving up to the location all worth it. This was one of the most incredible things I have ever witnessed in the animal world.

Good capture of the moment. I was at Bosque in December and the morning blast off by the snow geese was an incredible moment.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
