Green-winged Teal
I shot this guy last month at the Palo Alto Baylands in the SF Bay Area.
The light was a little harsh, but the duck was cooperative and let me get close enough for some closeups.
All pictures were taken handheld, in RAW, processed in LR2 + PS3, cropped (to 6mp) and resized for the web.
Sony A900, Minolta 400G, 1.4x APO TC,

Thanks for looking,

Thanks Dan. I hope you and your wife are doing well.
I also enjoyed talking to you at Harry's.
I had a really good time in Florida this month. Now I am back home shooting the usual suspects and envying those folks who live in FL.
I look forward to seeing you next year.
Super detail and clarity

Thank you.
! They need a few more colors to be considered wood ducks.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
