DSS #20 candidates: Enthropy and Les Eaux Tranquilles?

I'm not a big fan of artsy fartsy B&W, but nevertheless, here are my humble late evening shots from the bottom of the gorge (yes, I almost live there these days). These are my first serious BW conversion, so... what do you say?

    Both of these are great. You can enter as is or shoot more (it could benefit from having a more interesting focal point)

    I like #1 the best. I think looking upstream adds more to the scene then downstream.

    I like #3 the best... some of the brush in #1 is a little distracting for me. What are you using to convert?

    Thanks for the comments, everyone!

    @Kinkajou: Conversion was simply done with PS CS4 / Channel Mixer, Curves and Levels. RAW conversion and initial adjustments with LR2.
