I captured these two images while in the Skagit valley shooting snow geese.
I know what the first one is, but not being a bird expert, I'm not sure about the second one. My guess would be that it is a Red Tail Hawk, I'm hoping someone with more knowledge could clue me in.

The second one looks like a juvenile bald eagle to me.

Glen, this bird was sitting in a tree when I pulled into the parking area. Before flying off it looked a lot like the one in your gallery being held by Pete Bloom.
