I like itthumb.gif...... Wish I shot it......... I would crop out the black on the right side and a enough off the top to get rid of the black.. IMO It takes away from the pic.. I think that it is a little soft, and I would play around with levels or whatever your comfortable with, and try to get a little more pop to it.

    Thanks Azzaro... great suggestions

Ok, so I wouldn't lose that crooked look I widend the frame around the mirror so when I tightened the crop I would still have some wood frame. Then adjusted curves a smidge and upped the contrast and saturation also.

I wasn't suggesting to get rid of the crooked look, I like that..... Just crop it tighter. Leave the picture like it is but crop the picture so the black is gone......

I like what you did, but you might try the tighter crop so you can compare.

Agree with Azzarro - wish I'd taken it!!! But now that you've given us both the thought.....

I like the crop you did. Cool shot!

I like this, and the re-worked version even more, the added contrast was just the ticket :D

I agree that the second version is better, though I like the original as well. Nice job of faking the frame in the revision. Well done. thumb.gif

Here is a simple crop of the black area, with a bit of a curve to lighten her face, and sharpened a bit with a high pass filter
