Cart Empty after adding a pic?

How does the shopping cart work? Does it save a cookie on your PC to keep track of all the pictures you ordered? My wife just called me steaming mad because she added over 1000 pictures from last year and painstakingly cropped and adjusted everything and when she added her last pic her shopping cart was empty. Boy did I get an earful and this isn't the first time it has happened before. Any tips that we can use when we order photos in batches. Ideally it will be great if its somehow saved and we can go back to it on another PC and continue ordering another day, like saving order sessions...is it possible?

The cart is saved in a cookie so those have to be enabled. Make sure after
adding a photo that the quantity is increase to at least to one. If left at
zero and you continue browsing it will be lost. I've mentioned to Smug in
the past that there should be a warning if no quantity is entered and you
click continue to browse or back to gallery.

cart session is cookie based. If you start a cart in one browser and then move to another computer or browser, you will have a different cart session. Did your wife switch browsers/computers?

We save the cart cookie for 28days. I'm really sorry that you're wife's cart didn't save from last year :(

She did not switch computers and was doing so in one sitting yesterday afternoon.

Andy- I meant she added over 1000 pictures from the albums from last year. rolleyes1.gif

I told her to make sure the quantity says one and not zero and hopefully that was it. She's going to give it another try today, but shes so discouraged since I can tell ordering over 1000 pics and having to crop and move that red box around is no fun.
