I found my first Sora

Well, after all this time, I finally found a Sora at the Viera Wetlands. Too bad that it was 12:10PM in harsh light...........

I've been birding for most of my life and never heard of a "Sora"! So, I'm glad to see something different, regardless of the pic. I frequently shoot at noon, so this is helpful to me to see someone else's shot in harsh light! Yes, it's a bit flat--but I still get an idea of the shape, color, and texture of the bird, esp. the feathers. This is also one where I think I'd prefer less background environment instead of what you have here.

Congrats Ira that's a good find. I saw one last year but it too was in lousy light. Maybe we cab get it to coem out in some decent lighting some time.
