Glade Creek Grist Mill

Last Sunday we got a pretty good amount of snow, so I headed down to Babcock State Park to shoot the famous grist mill. Most of the photos you will see from this location are taken in the Fall, very few people venture down the unplowed road in the winter to shoot the beautiful scene. I hope you all enjoy the following.

Beautiful...even in winter. I like the first...I think because the focus for me was the building... since it is winter and the trees are less colorful.

Very awesome. I like #1 or #2 best. I'd go with #2 if I had to pick one because it's a good balance of mill and water. The water is eye catching in #3 but I think the mill is so far back you don't get a good enough perspective.

    Beautiful work.
Love this place, but I am an ADV rider too!

Thanks guys! It is a great place to shoot, especially during Fall and Winter. I have to say that I kind of prefer the mill with the snow than the Fall color. Did I just say that ne_nau.gif

Those are gorgeous. Great spot (and not just in fall, as you've shown!).
