Anyone know what type this is?

I've looked in a field guide I have for birds in my region, and the closest I come up with is a Rock Dove; and that is just in the body and neck colors. I cant find anything similar but with white head and tail..

I wasn't out to shoot birds, but when I seen this one land nearby I had to get a shot of it. It was the first time I've seen one like it.

Looks like a Domestic/Wild cross. Domestic, like magician's white doves.

It is a rock pigeon, or rock dove! Both names are correct! Pigeon's come in all shapes, colors and sizes but the telltale ID marker is the white lump at the base of the bill.

    Thanks..

upon looking at the name suggested, Magician's white dove, yes that definitely looks like it in the head.

I also was kind of amazed while searching for that name. There are allot of competitions for pigeon breeders. Some of them are radical looking.

He/She looks chilly. Using the proven method of only one leg at a time on the cold snow.
