I recently got bit by the lomo bug and this little Super Sampler is fantastic!

I'm also on a cross-country road trip, so I have lots of ops to use this thing:

A one-trick pony, but it's a fun one. :D

(... and I'm grateful that 1-hour photo places still exist)

Very cool! I particularly love the one of your puppy. That first frame cracks me up. :giggle

I looked into these when I was shopping for a Holga, and I thought it looked fun to do. Which you've definitely proven. :D

Thanks guys! Lomography is a pretty free-form mindset of shooting, usually with less-expensive gear and film. Analog and low-tech. I love their 10 Golden Rules, which are a really nice balance against the measurebation and technical perfection we see most of the time.

I'd love a Diana+ but I'm starting simple now (35mm for ease of processing). Already so much to do! Go for the Holga! :D

These are pretty cool. I especially like the dog one too.

I was looking at that camera too, but I ended up with a Holga. If you do pick up a Holga, or something similar, one fun thing to do is grab old square filters from your local cam store and you can hold them up in front of the lens for some fun effects...and they are cheap too.

Oh and around here since these types of cams look like toys and not real stuff, casino security doesn't hassle mwink.gif

You can put 35mm in the Holga as well as 120, maybe in the Diana too?

Okay. Now I see, or I don't. But maybe I will. Kinda.

Yes, you can put 35mm in the Diana. I didn't look into the Holga actually because the Diana+ will do everything it does and then more. But it's a matter of personal preference, of course. I love how cheap they look, and how great the results can be. Casinos, you say....?

Do you have your shots scanned and up somewhere? I would love to see them!

I have only been out with my Holga once unfortunately, and none of the casino shots came out very well. :cry It was my first time without any settings to adjust for exposure, just click and pray.

Here's a shot I took outside of a casino, came out neat and the best of the 12 shots I took that day:

Planning to go out again soon since I've learned a lot more about exposure since then :D
