Ever have a venue that really didn't lend itself to great photos?....LOL...yea, we all have. Anyway, this was a real nice couple, small gathering of friends and family, little church, lots of color temps...you know, the normal stuff. So, finally did some images and thought I'd share. Oh, sorry for the old watermark...have to make a new one.

#1 The couple

    Haha, very cool. Favorites are:

    #4 - just too funny!
#5 - very nice, but agree ... would straighten that one ...
#6 - very nice photo! Has a contemporary feel to it iloveyou.gif
(#7 - cute, but she should have crossed her legs & he should have done something else with his hands mwink.gif)
    #8 - SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!!

As for the others .... not really anything you could have done, but she looks a bit "scared" ... #2 ... didn't understand what was going on until I red the title ... #3. I think this one is overdone (skin) I like the crop / shot but they look a bit like dolls iloveyou.gifmwink.gif Too beautiful to be true!! eek7.gifrolleyes1.gif

Nice set, Dave! I still refuse to do winter weddings until ... I move down south somewhere rolleyes1.gif

Heheh..ok ok...I'll straighten a couple.....that's the way I shot it with on purpose tilt.....ok...check...beautified...check.....thanks for your observations. I'll fix em rolleyes1.gif Yea Angie...the limo shot...only got one..it was so dark in there...cam wouldn't focus, they were in a rush to get going...basically aimed the flash at them and fired when focus locked. Could not see hands...Laughing.gif. Her scaredy cat look was natural.

Basically using this thread to post some ideas in processing.....here are some different looks...way different than my usual style. The client wanted pretty much straight forward shots and that's what they got...fairly traditional. I on the other hand figured this would be a great exercise in stretching out. So.....any of these work with the more modernistic approach? rolleyes1.gif

Love Abby Road and #1 of the second set - these really stand out in these two sets.

#2 in the first set - you seem to have color cast issues. In all the other shots, her gown is white .... but not in that one. I'm guessing you had two or more light sources going there and adjusted for skin tones.

Thanks Scott....you are correct....adjusted for skin tones..could go back and re-gain the white on the gown as it wouldn't be hard to do.

6 is great good processing. Not a huge fan of the Abbey rd. but great execution...very fun shot. Man aren't those candle stands lining the isle a PITA to shoot around? You did a great job of getting them straight, and without shadows. Looks like you shot that coming down the isle shot ambient or very bounced...balls thats pure balls. Very nice.

Hehe...thanks Jason....yep, balls and ambient....knew a flash would really throw it off (been there done that)....those candle stands are crazy..they're like 7 foot in the air...everywhere you turn, one's in the way...Laughing.gif. Thanks. Yea, the Abby Road was just a fun, mess around shot...cold out, why not...power lines, pick up trucks and all :D. I wouldn't say this wedding was portfolio material by any stretch of the imagination but it was a great way to spend a Saturday :D:D:D

Her skin in #2 looks amazing! Like everyine else #3 is really cool. Your last and favorite is great as well. Do you have any shots focused on her butterfly?

Very true and why I took and posted that way but did straighten out the bride coming down the isle w/dad....not quite enough tilt in camera for the effect to work, so fixed it.
