I posted a different perspective on this a few days ago. Here are a couple more.

Both were captured with an IR-converted Nikon D70s.

I love the first one, though I'd suggest maybe cropping it vertically (or maybe square to capture all the disturbed cloud structure). That tree on the right is sort'a in no mans land. It doesn't really balance the shot, and the way it interacts with the clouds is kinda harsh on the eyes.

that #2 is sweet...surely your thinking DSS #20, so i would suggest cropping a little to center the building?

I agree about the tree in the first one. I like the first one I posted earlier w/o the tree.

    Thanks for the critique!

Yeah, I was thinking about DSS 20. Not sure about centering it, though. If anything, I wish it were to the left a bit more. But I'll think about it some more. Thanks!

@2 Wow. I like it centered or extreme to the left but like it this way just fine!

Oh wow. Both are spectacular. I do however agree that maybe #2 would be better without the tree. Mixing two busy patterns is usually not a good idea, although I have to repeat about the sky: wow! bowdown.gif

Thanks everyone for all of your comments and suggestions. I think I settled on a horizontally framed version of this. I just couldn't get the building to center without losing a lot of the clouds in the crop. And I couldn't manage to clone it over to the center without slopping it up. So I went with another version.
