LR2 w/ CS3 questions

I upgraded to LR2 a few days ago, and I saw quickly that I would enjoy many of the updates.

However, I'm still trying to understand how it works with CS3. Say I open a copy w/ LR edits in CS3. Then I do some layer work there. Do I just hit save rather than save as? Does that matter? (I've been "saving as" a PSD.)

If I want to go back into the PSD to make further adjustments, do I have to make yet another copy (of the PSD) show up in LR, or should I open it from CS3? If I replace the old PSD with the new one, shouldn't that one show up in LR? It just seems like the PSD that shows up in LR isn't necessarily my most recent PSD version, but rather my first one.

Can you help me understand how these work together a bit better?
Elaine

I would not use CS3 unless you need to. You can most everything in LR2, including RAW. Is there anything that LR2 does not do then use CS3. I find I use CS3 very little now that I am using LR2. Also LR2 will not open PSD files, you should do a "save as" in CS3 then open it up in LR2.
