Did Feedburner burp today???

I have 3 sites under SmugMug and Feedburner (using Recent Galleries feed). All sent spurious emails today, listing many updated galleries (when, in fact, I haven't touched these galleries in months).

Anyone else have this happen?

The same happened with me. Google Reader suddenly reported a lot of "new" galleries, and Facebook (which I have set to import the RSS feed as notes) added 38 new items.

Same here with Google Reader. It did correctly list a new gallery I had just added, but it included - I think - 39 older ones as new as well.

Did anything ever come of this? I've had three instances of this happening - once from my Smugmug feed (listed about thirty galleries I haven't touched in months) and twice from a blog feed - dredging up old entries. To add to the frustration, now it seems to have stopped sending new emails even though the feeds appear correct.

Andy, did you find anything out? I've posted over at the feedburner help group but it seems like there's a lot of questions and few answers there...

We could never replicate it here, so no, nothing came of it, I'm very sorry :(

Weird - there was pretty widespread reporting of it in their help group. Hopefully it was just a temporary glitch. So far it seems to be back to normal.
