Softbox Help!!!

I purhchased a pair of softboxes from one of our fellow dgrinners. I finally understand how to use light and I would like to use these with my SB600 and SB800. The boxes came with the speed rings, and I have the bracket that goes on the light stand (Use it for my umbrella). I don't know what the name of the device that connects the softbox to the bracket on the light stand. I thought it was an L bracket. Can someone please verify?

If you can provide a picture of how it all connects, I would be forever in your gratitude.

If there is a 1/4-20 threaded hole on the speedring, you probably don't need any bracket. You can just unscrew the coldshoe from the umbrella swivel and mount the speedring on that shaft. You can then use ball bungees to hold the flash in the speedring. Check out this post from the strobist blog for more info:
