Display the number of photos contained in a gallery

I have really enjoyed using SmugMug the last year to support my son's H.S. lacrosse team and have received many favorable reviews. I do have one small question?

When viewing the different categories on the main page, it lists the number of galleries and the number of photos for each category. Likewise, when I click on a category to list the sub-categories, again it shows the number of galleries and number of photos for each sub-category. When I click on a sub-category to list the galleries, it does not list the number of photos in each gallery.

Is there a display option to display the number of photos in each gallery?

Here is an example of a sub-category listing 4 galleries. When viewing the list of galleries, it would be nice to see how many photos in each gallery.

Oh, sorry - beyond the listings here http://cplax.smugmug.com/2008%20Season we don't have what you're asking for

Dare I say it, this could possibly be accomplished with some Javascript hackery (load up the URL for each gallery, scrape the image count from the HTML, and display it), but honestly, it makes me tired thinking about it. Sorry.

(Any other Javascript hackers are welcome to implement this, no attribution required. No really. :-)

Help!
I have kinda the same problem. It shows me I have 1790 photos in my 2011 gallery but it does not show anything in the 2010 gallery. I looked at the code and it's the same. Is there anything I can do? Here is my link: http://adamdaniels.smugmug.com/DirtTrackRacing

Pick one gallery from the 2010 category, go into the gallery settings under "Look and Feel", and set "clean to NO:

Please allow display of # photos in Galleries
Please add this, at least as an option.

It is important to me that peple directed to a gallery know how many photos are in each gallery. Seems odd that there is no way to make this visible.

When I turn on Clean, I don't see the count of photos in the gallery, just the updated time like this:
Updated: Nov 09, 2011 1:28pm CST

I certainly may have hidden it through javascript some time way in the past, but not that I can find.

Should I be seeing the count of photos under each gallery title?

Specifically, I've had an assistant tagging individuals in photos and I've made a bunch of smart galleries to sort them into. I'd like to see how many photos of each individual we've accumulated.

There is no count to see how many photos there are in a gallery. That's only available on the homepage and category pages to show how many galleries / photos are in a category / subcategory. Of course, this only works if *all* galleries within the category / subcategory have clean set to *no*.

Again, this is only available for categories and subcategories and not individual galleries.
