Hey everyone, I'm new here and this is my first image post. I'd love to know what you think!
This is about an hour's worth of air traffic over Seattle, WA.

I have gotten this question a lot so I wrote up a description that can be found here. This is a composite image with about 120 stacked layers.

Seriously, the technique is cool. I think I was expecting to see the sky scribbled all over. Maybe a relatively quite night?

That's not a bad idea. I just may give it a try.

It was a little quieter than I expected. I was sure to show up just after sunset, as I felt this would be the busiest time night. The reason it's not overly chaotic is there are two airports that lie just south of the city and most of the planes that came into view were already in a landing pattern. The diagonal path that passes just over the top of the Space Needle is actually made up of at least 20 planes that were almost perfectly overlapped.
