My first post, but would love any feedback -- let me have it! Been shooting seriously for a few months and have a 40D and one 70-200mm L lens that I used for these. I love this lens! I know very little about photoshop and these are all JPEGs that I edited slightly in Photoshop. I really would appreciate constructive criticism.

Great series, beautiful color, though the lion in the second-to-last shot looks really oversharpened. I absolutely love the ostrich shot! They are such hams for the camera. I got this one with my point-and-shoot many years ago at our local zoo. I envy your equipment! Beautiful work.

About the lion pic you are totally right. I was paying so much attention to its face that I didn't realize the background looks like it's been destroyed by manipulation. Point taken!

The lion looks great, but it is a little dark---if it's in RAW, can you add some EV to it to lighten a little bit? Or screen it in blending mode in PS? She's so pretty. But otherwise, great work. These are so much better than most of my zoo shots---I need to get to a good zoo!

I edited it by adjusting the curves. I have not shot in RAW yet.
