A Taste of Umbria (Italy)

I had the opportunity to shoot a special cooking class yesterday. A noted chef from Umbria, Italy, was invited in to cook and teach for about 20 friends. These are a few of the images I captured from that event. They were all shot with the flash bounced off the ceiling. We had close quarters, so I went with a wide angle lens. I posted some of the group pictures on the "People" forum here.

    man, that all looks amazing! i wish i could have an italian chef teach me more about cooking! i try my best, but i can't come up with anything remotely like that, haha.

    Thank you! Of course I ate! mwink.gif Wine, good food, and photography all night long. Can't beat that kind of night!

    Really well done images. Very nice use of flash, wide lens & compositional angles. Excellent color. I see that especially true with the tomatoes and green peppers.

    Hard pressed to pick one photo but to do so would leave me going with
    photo #1. Its a beauty.
