I'm thinking Red tailed- it's very stocky for a red shoulder. I could be wrong though, I see so many red shouldered around here that I keep hoping one might be a red tailed..

At the Viera Wetlands, a Red Tailed Hawk has for the last 2 months been hanging out along the fence line along the north dike road. He has also been landing on the telephone polls in front of the Duda office.
The hawk in this thread is a Red Tailed Hawk, identified by the dark spotted belly belt, although a little hard to see in this photo. The belly belt is better depicted in the other thread.......
