Using Dates as Keywords

I have a daily photo on my website. To keep track of what photo's I've used in the past I add "DailyPhoto" as a keyword to each photo I've used. I'd also like to add the date I used the photo as a keyword.

Every time I add a date, it doesn't get saved as a keyword. I've tried different formats such as 28/2/09 and 28-2-09. Neither works.

Is there a way I can do this?
