We'll be in Peru in April 2009. We plan focus our time in Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca. We will be visiting the usual sites and have asked our guide to suprise us with some of the out-of-the-way spots not on the usual tourist circuit.
In particular, I am looking for tips on time of day to visit different attractions ... for example, someone mentioned that the Salineras is best in the afternoon, as is Sillustani near Lake T.
We'll be traveling independently with a guide and can order our day to take advantage of good light conditions at the various sites.
Any thoughts, tips would be greatly appreciated.
