Had my last blind session things were slow in the waterfowl department. But at least it did not rain and it is always good to watch the sunrise on the wetlands. Except for about an hour at sunrise it was overcast.

The Killdeer Cheer squad was practicing, oh wait a minute they were not practicing the pyramid, it is spring time isnt it.

Snow Goose I think he had a bad wing you can see only one black tip sticking out and he was all by his self.

Eagles were out on the way home I seen an adult Bald Eagle harassing the ducks but he was too far off, but got a Juvenile in flight

There were actually 2 Goldens and 3 Bald Eagles seen that day. I was hoping one would come roost on the dead tree outside of the photo blind, but the only raptor that came close when I was there was a Harrier. It was the first time I had seen Goldens there but I know they frequent the area. The killdeer put on quite a show that day, I took way to many shots of them but they kept coming back to that same log. The mating ritual was a bonus though. Never had seen that by species.
