Upload not appearing

Hmmm...I just uploaded 30+ photos using Smugbrowser. I was uploading to this folder: http://www.adamfarber.com/gallery/7490504_4UsMw
All appeared to be going fine, all files are listed as 'uploaded' is smugbrowser, but they are not appearing in the gallery.
some notes of potential importance:
-I created the gallery is smugmug
-I navagated to the gallery is smugbrowser, right clicked on it, and selected upload
-I selected the photos and started uploading
-For some reason, the list of photos uploading lists the correct category, but 'none' for subcategory. There is a category for this gallery.
A curious 'coincidence' - I cannot access my upload log via the control panel. I click it and the browser hangs on a white screen
-photos have not appeared after cache clearing
-photos not appearing in either firefox or safari (which i rarely use)
thoughts?
Thanks!

Sorry for your troubles. There don't show any recent uploads in your upload log for me. It seems the upload was not received properly by us. Please try again using our Simple uploader and see if it works this time:

There shouldn't be any delay between the photos showing up in the gallery if the upload was successful. You might see them as 'processing image' thumbnails, but they should show right away.
