One Model, Three fine art styles.

This is my first in a series of three models that are for personal work. This shoot had only an hour and a half shoot time as the model arrived late and I had a scheduled appointment right afterwards. I think we did well for the short shoot time.

    Thank you everyone!

    @Chris: That is by far my most favorite shot and thank you Lightroom II for the one fix it needed ;)

    @Magic: Thank you so much!

    @Nikolai: The secret to kick shot is that you'll find it very hard to get her completely black in camera without the use of side flags because of all the light that will bounce around so what I do is make sure the subject is at least 2 stops underexposed (there will still be a lot of detail on the subject) and when you process the RAW file shove the blacks to max and if you want black and white you can desat in the RAW convertor for the final fix. It's a repeatable result and you get great tonality in the skin that still shows up which is a bonus.

    Yeah, I thought that was the case :-) And I do use side flags :-)

    Hi Chris I'm late to the game but see you've turned external linking off in the original gallery so now your images won't show. Intentional? Just checking. :D

    A shame, too, because they're lovely! thumb.gif

    I like the last one the best. I think you've accomplished something when you can add a sexy and private mystique to silhouettes. Well done.

    Hello Sire!
    Second of the low key: clap.gif

    Brilliant! I really LOVE it!

    If I was to nit pick... perhaps I wold have liked to get rid of some of the blemishes on the chest and neck...

    Still a REALLY classic shot with a fab conversion!
