Hi everyone, first post to sports forum... just let you know I don't have a nice 70-200mm f2.8 - i was just using a 18-200 Nikkor lens... but damn the 70-200/2.8 would have been really helpful with it's focussing speed and sharpness for the kite surfers!
I did get lucky with one shot though - I was following and focussing on the guy at the back as he was jumping out of the water a lot when the guy in the red top flew threw the frame - perfect "timing"
Once the guy in red realised i was gonna be there for a while he made sure he kept on jumping in front of me :rofl
Looked like a heap of fun - next time i think i'd like to get out in front of the camera :thumb
