Yellowstone/Grand Tetons - photo day trips?

catspawcatspaw Registered Users Posts: 1,292 Major grins
I am, for good or bad :wink , heading up towards Yellowstone and the Tetons with my parents (:huh ) around the 4th of July. Being the amazingly (:dunno ) understanding folks that they are, they know I'll be wanting to do some photography while I'm up there (haha. really??).

Googling shows a LOT of different outfitters that do day trips for photography (wildlife, etc) in those areas. However, any idea how to find out who is really GOOD? any recommendations? Anyone used or heard of a good/decent one before?

I'm all for taking the mdx keys and hitting the road at 4am but something about wolves and bears has my parents in terror at that idea (yes I'm 30+ yrs old, but if they lose me, they don't get grandkids :rofl ).

thanks folk!!!

    Lamar Valley
I grew up about 75 miles outside of Yellowstone. I spend time there almost every summer. If you go by yourself, go up to the northern end to the Lamar Valley. Usually more animals and less people. I have some pictures up on my site that I took about two years ago.

    Good luck and have fun.
