Is this what happens when the "fix red eye" feature goes awry? lol3.gif

Seriously, cool effect. Was this your goal when you captured the image or an afterthought?

No specific festivity or culture; I am taking photo classes. We had several themes we had to shoot for the next class; I decided to be goofy a bit and combine two (one of them was 'red' :D)

Great capture. I love the colors of the window light in her eyes next to the stark red/black look of her hair/make-up.

Great shot. The only nit I can really give it is that I would have liked the show from a slightly lower angle. Looking down at her like that is slightly disorienting to me (though I can't see why, as I'm taller than the vast majority of women).

It's funny that you say that about the angle; I tried a few, and they all look 'funny' to me for some reason. I'm not sure if it is her face, or the color that throws me off or what else it is lol3.gif

The 'darkness' of it is what I had in mind before the shot already, so it's not too dark for me thumb.gif

The dangers of tanning beds . . .

    Cool shot!

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
