Hi Guys, I've been away for a bit due to "Man-Flu":D:D, but now I'm on the mend I've managed to grab a couple of shots that just might fit the bill.

I'd love your C&C on these,

These photos really fit the chaos part of the theme well. :D I think that the framing on #1 shows better detail of the chaos than #2.

That's great. Run with that thought. Give me some daisy-chained power strips and servers laying around on the floor. How about a hand reaching out from within the mess...

Part of the challenge of meeting the "chaos" theme is communicating "chaos" while still providing something for the eye to be drawn to and focus on. It's one thing to capture "chaos" artistically so that the viewer "feels" it; it's another thing entirely for your image to be chaotic or cluttered. One is art; the other is simply an accurate represenation of something chaotic.

Or somebody trying to unravel it, or looking down at it in horror/confusion.... It's certainly chaotic! I think it's on the road to an excellent idea, just expand it a little more - as Jeff says, perhaps give it a "story".

Yeah, "give it a story." That's a great way to put it.

Great idea!! If that isn't chaos, I don't know what is. I like #1 best.

Ok, so I managed to grab another shot with ( hopefully ) more of a story, and I've come up with a title.

So here is "Cutting through the Chaos"

What do you think of this one?

You have me worried as to which cord he is about to cut, so you definitely have a bit of a story there. I personally think this shot is pretty cool at this point!

Thank you for that, I'm happier with this version than my 1st tries.

I really like this recent one and think everyone can relate to it!
Only thing I would do is try to get more detail in hand it looks a little blown out to me-may be my laptop.

I should be able to pull a bit more detail in the hand, I think I blew it out in the conversion, but I'll have another go at it tomorrow after work and before in-laws mwink.gifwinkmwink.gif

Before the hand, I sort of liked how the tower frame resembled an apt bldg or a "tower" and the chaos of all the 'utility lines' entering it: In a jumbled, overstated way.
