Transparent watermarks and gallery title

I've been experimenting with watermarking my images. if you go to the "digital painting - abstract" gallery you will see my current attempt. I don't quite care for it, a bit too obtrusive according to some viewers. I would like suggestions on how to create a watermark in PShop with transparent fill in the text or some other kind of unobtrusive watermark.

secondly, the gallery referred to above is supposed to display the title of the gallery on the gallery thumb. but even tho I've entered it several times, I don't see the title.

Dick, I've mentioned this before - you really gotta change slideshows then one you're using was dropped from support by the creator 2 years ago. Use the Shizam Flash Slideshow:
