"Minolta's new "D" lenses feature Distance Encoding that provides refined multi-segment metering for manual focusing."
But not being a Minolta owner.......I'm not sure what it means.

Your 1st link was to an "i" verson of the lens and the 2nd is to a "D" version and this part of the "D"s description says it all I think............
The "i" version is not an internal focusing lens and if the"D" is not a front focus at lest the front element does not rotate allowing the use of circular polarizers which is a huge difference between the 2........plus the "D" has the distance encoding that the "i" does not have........
If it were me and I was thinking of purchasing the 2nd one I would save a bit more and get a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 or 17-70 f2.8-4 ......but that would be just my preference............
Since both are used lenses it is up to the seller to determine their value. One is Ex and the other Ex+. Also their original selling price may have been different. One could be a couple years older than the other.
