Grand Canyon Rattlesnake.
Although this little girl was not found in the canyon, it is her namesake. these animals are known from within the canyon proper and it's tributaries.
I originally did this image in 04 will probably re-work it now that I have a little more post processing knowledge and see if I can get a little more out of it.

Excellent Composition
Only one nit... wish the rattle was straight up and in focus
of course and that point you would of been to close for comfort :wow

Agree it's a shame the rattle isn't pointing straight up, but these fellas aren't known for being cooperative.
