Riley 4 months on

I posted shots of Riley as a newborn, now he's 4 months old and a different little man. Took all of these on his first trip away, 3 hours south of Perth (West Aust) on a long weekend.
Taken with either a 50mm 1.8 (the first shot) or my 100-400L

    cute little guy and I love his name. #1 and #3 have the best lighting. #2 is the winner for me.

    SUPER cute little guy!! You really did a nice job of getting the light in his eyes. I'd close up your aperture a bit when shooting from the side like that so both eyes are in focus.

    That's the age people should be taken pic's not newborn's not attractive when they are 1st born.

    Thankyou all for the great comments, we also think he's one cute kid full of life and personality.
    Thanks Jan for the pointer on aperture, you are spot on, I'll definitely have to pay more attention in the future.
    Justme, when we picked his name we thought we had something pretty cool and not too common, turns out 4 other Riley's were born the same week we were there and it was one of the most popular names of 2008!

    speedsk8r, are you saying this little guy wasn't cute from birth?? this is Riley a week old...
