Kind of a DSS question...but not really.

But kinda. Ok, so when someone is entering a photo for a DSS, they can sign in with a username and password. Here is what I'm wanting to do...

In one of my classes for school, we need to make an online exhibition. It will be a group project. I was thinking that I could create an unlisted gallery with a vanity URL that my group could go to. Is there a way that I can give them a password so that they can enter in to that specific gallery and make edits (for their part of the project), upload pictures, edit descriptions, etc...but not have access to the rest of my site? They are not smugmug users, and therefore are not on my "friends or family" list. Is there anyway to do this?
