148 Views and there are no comments? I wonder if I can move this thread to the whipping post?

#1. I find that it is too centered (usually when I shoot baby's that are not looking at the camera I will crop to leave more space on the side that they are looking towards and the things in the background are kind of distracting. I would clone them out. Otherwise the photo appears sharp and the eyes are sparkly. Beautiful baby!
#3 I love the expression. Again a little too centered. But since he is looking straight into the camera not as troubling as the first one. With the sepia tone the background doesn't seem as intrusive. This photo would be improved by a little pp. The shadow side of the face looks a little "dirty". Could just be the shadows but I would soften the lower cheek a little and the shadow on the bright side seems a bit strong for my taste.
and #4. Dof is way too shallow for my taste. Did you hand hold at a slow speed? The only thing that looks in focus is her left eye and maybe her teeth. A bit overexposed also and too hot on her left. Cute girl and beautiful eyes! I would like to see them with less of a smile and wide open. But a hard catch at her age!
Not sure if this is what you wanted. I hope I wasn't too harsh. Just my initial reactions to seeing these pictures.
