Quick question about keywords

..If I input keywords via the customize gallery bit, will it keyword every photo in that gallery? Or will I have to keyword every photo individually?

Gallery keywords are not applied to your photos. If you want keywords on your photos you will need to add them. I'd recommend using the bulk keyword tool at the gallery level rather than working with each photo individually.
