Looks like Daytona doogweek to me hehe. That new dog track is very nice, but it will just not be the same without the old track. Cant wait to see the photos from the bike races!

I was at the short track races shooting both nights. Mostly in Sec. E, turn four.

I may have seen you, what were you shooting with?

    I was the old guy in sec E. I had a D700 w 300 2.8 (earlier 70/200)

Man those short track conditions were ugly, they didn't dampen the track once. I couldn't get a keeper after the 2nd lap.

Shooting thru cyclone fence did limit panning.. rolleyes1.gif

    Here are a few

Yep, I saw you. I thought about talking to you, but you were pretty engaged with another fellow, & I didn't want to interupt your work. I don't have fast enough glass as yet, so mine aren't nearly as good as yours. Very nice work!!!thumb.gif

No, I'm not going to the 200 tonight, nor the Supercross tomorrow night. Too dark for what I have. I look forward to seeing some of your results.

As an aside, I'm renting a 70-200 F2.8L for the Gatornationals next weekend. Can't wait to see the difference.

You'll love the 70/200. Good luck with it

Jeeze sorry we didn't talk. I put away my 70/200 that you could have used.
