Pictures of some birds at the park today

I went to the park this morning with my father and shot a few photos of some birds. Please tell me what you think. In particular, I'm not sure how I feel about the photos of the cardinals. I thought there was something about these shots that looked interesting but I'm not sure whether I really like them. Natural lighting was horrible today - really cloudy and dreary outside. :cry Looking for feedback. Thanks in advance. :thumb

    #4 is fantastic..

maybe try cropping 1 and 2 on the right about where the edge of the tree is..
They seem a bit too centered..
Off-centered or at 1/3 or 2/3 makes a better composition.. most of the time..

I hope you dont mind my little critique.. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
