This is a 26 shot panorama of the great wall. It was amazing.......unfortunately this section is restored. If you guys like this one I will post another later of a section that hasn't been restored.

Beautiful! After I get back to Japan for a 2nd trip, taking a side trip to China would be nice...

...now if only I could afford a plane ticket...

Very nice. Great job on the photo. The wall is such an amazing piece of history. I'd like to see the un-restored section that you mentioned.

That wall blows me away every time i see it & you caught it very well. Just try & start to imagine building it...the workers camps & the weather they endured.

I agree with Gus, Great job on the pic. It makes me think of the work that went into building it.

    Amazing.

I'd like to thank everyone for your very kind comments. I really appreciate it!

it's a nice panorama. Nice depth of field. I like that the wall is both in the
    foreground and the background.

I'd like to suggest posting a smaller version with a link to the larger
version imbedded. That away, others can see the whole image without
    having to scroll.

Ian, what software did you use for your pano? I've tried my first ever pano in the last holiday, and the mixing, blending etc. seemed pretty hard.
enjoy being here while getting there

This is awesome! :jawdrop My stitch jobs usually stick out like a sore thumb. Nothing of the sort jumped out at me on this one. Instead I was taken by the whole scene. Nice work!
