I think probably a re-post but getting ready to attend another one and wanted to get some general C&C on these. Hope you like them. (Some pretty big crops so the noise creeped in) Nikkor 70-300mm VR

    Nice shots, can't wait to get to another airshow myself.

    I think the first shot is underexposed a bit - it seems well exposed for the sky and not so much the aircraft. I also think the crop could be improved by adding a little room to right. Most of the time it works best to give the plane some space to "fly into".

    I would say the same goes for the second shot of the Heritage Flight. It also could use a touch slower exposure to blur the prop a bit, although that makes getting a sharp image more challenging.

    The third demonstrates the "open space" point - the crop and composition are very pleasing here. I also like the b/w conversion and the grain it brought out - this is my favorite of the series.

    Anyway, that's my take. Looking forward to seeing your shots from this year's show(s).
