Does anybody have the Vivitar DF-383 flash?

I have a Canon 430EX and have been trying to find a second unit that would slave either the 430 or could use the 430 to activate as a slave.. without spending $440 on a 580EX.
I found the Vivitar unit searching and from its description it has a built-in slave function and is power adjustable and only about $130.

Anybody have feedback on this idea?
