This October I had the opportunity to go shoot the streets of NYC with Andy Williams. He and I wandered around Chinatown, the Financial District and over into DUMBO. This is what I got out of it:

#7 Another Doorman (wow, I need to be more original):

Nice series, I like them all but #1, and 9-11 are my favorites, #1 has the a cold oppressive feeling that I associate with large cities like New York.thumb.gif

Frag Master: So, I take it you don't particularly care for the "street" shots? FWIW, the last three are my favorites also.

Photopaddler: Thanks for the comment! Personally, I'm missing the oppression of the shot, but I appreciate the perspective.

dlplumer: NYC is a great place, and I love it. Living on the left coast now, I'll get to see it much less frequently.

Thanks dseidman, that means I've done my job! Either that or you are just looking for an excuse to go to NYC :D

You've certainly done your job. I really like your first shot (Wall Street, right?), as well as the last two with the Brooklyn Bridge.

good stuff man. i really like the 1st shot out of them all the most.

the 2nd shot reminds me of another place in Amsterdam that i love so i'm a fan of that shot as well.

and 10 and 11 are just well, pretty epic.

Fan-frickin'-tastic. I know how much of a process this was to get from the plethora of raw goods to the streamlined finished products and you had some really good help along the way, too. wings.gif

It's also really obvious that street photography is your genre of choice. :D
