This venue is a real dungeon, and the venue for the Nationals is quite a lot better lit, but it will still be tough shooting. (it does not have turquoise walls )

There are many logistical details for me to sort out between now and May, but I am thankful for the practice shoot as it gave me an idea of the pace of the game, and I have feedback from the organizers on what they think is a good shot.

One of the biggest questions I have is whether investing in a new, high ISO capable, body is worth it.

ISO 3200

with either the 50mmf1.4 or the 85mmf1.8

and the 1DMkIIN.
