Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive
I've been fortunate to have been asked to do the photography for the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive the past 2 years. On the drive, the guests and the 'real' cowboys drive ~300 head of cattle 90 miles into the Reno Rodeo center, where they are actually used in the Reno Rodeo. The drive is 5 days long, and a lot of fun. It's a great way to see not only how things were done back in the days of the 'old west', but also how they are still done today. Here are some of the photos:

Riding drag (back of the herd) was a pretty dirty task:
Some camp shots:
All shot with a canon 30d, most with the 24-105L. Toughest part of doing this was trying to keep dust out of the camera and trying not to fall off my horse or drop the camera from the horse.
Thanx for looking. Comments/critiques always welcomed. Kevin.
The rest of the photos can be seen at kbellphotography.com
I also have a slideshow set to music if you're interested at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fDVdrKPVd8

Today, ESPN.com ran a story on the cattle drive and used my photos - it's kind of fun seeing your own stuff on a national website (sorry, I hope this wasn't 'bragging' too much - I just had to tell someone:D)
Here's the link to the story: http://sports.espn.go.com/rodeo/general/news/story?id=3986295
