The last time I tried to take photos of this flower I didn't check the ISO and wound up with very noisy ISO 1600 shots. My plant normally only flowers once or twice a year, and the flowers only come out for one night. Luckily, it looks like I'll be getting six flowers this year - so I had a chance to redeem myself.

I'm still fiddling around with the post-processing, but so far I think they're turning out quite well. I lit them by walking around the flower with the flash unit and setting it off manually a number of times.

I've altered the colours in this one so that some of the features stand out better. I'll have to try and remove the blue and still keep them.
