Nothing else on the web - just accessing galleries is painfully slow.
Did I miss an announcement or something?

You missed no announcement - it's likely your connection between you and us. Please write our heroes at the help desk so we can do some diagnostics, thanks!

Oh please don't wait two days next time :D

Yes!! Not just slow, but I haven't been able to get in at all from home since last Thursday, and the Smugmug support team gave up! I sent them gobs of diagnostic data, and they said they'd let me know if anyone else reported a problem. Boo!

Are you with Comcast by any chance? My traceroute ends at pos-0-10-0-0-cr01.denver.co.ibone.comcast.net. I got through once, and the very next hop is the Akamai server in Denver. Wonder if this is down or having problems. My connection at work takes a different path, and works fine. ne_nau.gif

    Yeah - comcast.

Help@smugmug informed that they have several complaints form comcast-based customers.

To be honest I have not gotten into my account too much lately to see if things have improved. I have been tied up with no computer (except for this cruddy laptop from my office for the past few days).
