    What a great title! I admit I'm not sure I would have done a double-take on the image if not for that. And now all I see is a terrifying creature looming with its arms outstretched. thumb.gif

    Thank you Schmoo. I think I'm going to try something else on it though next chance I get.

    A "Widowmaker", is basically a dead tree that shouldn't be stood under. This particular one was flash burnt during a fire a few years ago.
    Anybody can do it.

    You find the darndest things out there! :D

    I like this; it is scary. Can imagine the different feel of it with a rich, warm sunset.

    Thank you. The strange stuff is easy to find out in the middle of nowhere :)

    I imght head up there again, maybe vefore a storm rolls in. The fast way up is a skinny one lane dirt road with a 200 foot dropoff on one side. I had my 14-year old grand daughter with me, so restricted the trip to a bright sunny Sunday for her.
